Sai Bioenergy was founded to close the loop between agriculture and energy — converting the organic residue of rural India into clean fuel, and returning its nutrients to the soil that produced it.
From residue to resource
India generates hundreds of millions of tonnes of agricultural and organic residue every year. Most of it is burned or landfilled. We saw an infrastructure opportunity: aggregate that residue reliably, convert it with proven anaerobic digestion technology, and deliver both a clean fuel and a certified organic fertilizer.
